How To Crochet Fat-Tailed Gecko, Amigurumi Crochet Lizard Reptile Free Tutorial And Printable PDF Pattern

Hello, everyone!

Welcome to my latest amigurumi crochet pattern - which is a ball python snake! You can find the printable PDF version available for purchase on my Etsy shop. If you prefer video tutorials, you can head over to my YouTube channel to watch them there, or you can find them right here! For now, only the first part is uploaded on my YouTube channel, but more will be coming soon!

These are the materials needed to crochet this amigurumi:
  • Crochet hooks (0.60 mm for the Head, Body & Tail and Leg)
  • Yarns (Jeans sewing thread in light brown, white, and dark brown)
  • Bendable wires (Copper wires)
  • Stuffings (Polyester stuffings)
  • A stitch marker
  • A scissor
  • A needle
  • Beads

And these are the abbreviations contained in this pattern:
  • Single crochet = sc
  • Increase = inc
  • Decrease = dec
  • Chain = ch
  • Stitch/Stitches = st/sts
  • (sts) * n times = Repeat the stitch(es) inside the brackets as many times as instructed.

Feel free to choose from a wide range of yarns, including different weights, textures, and colors, to suit your preferences. Similarly, select crochet hook sizes and types of pins that align with your project requirements. Additionally, pick the stuffing material that best fits the desired look and feel of your finished piece. But if you want the final result to closely resemble the picture, I highly recommend using the exact materials listed here.

When working on this pattern, it's important to note that it should be worked in continuous rounds. This means that you won't be joining your rounds with slip stitches, but instead, you'll be working in a spiral. Be sure to mark the beginning of each round, as it can be easy to lose track of where you are in the pattern when working in this way. By working continuously, your finished project will have a seamless look, without any obvious joins or breaks in the pattern.
